In which I reveal myself to be a London-based artist, mainly of the male nude, and other famous events. No AI here. In fact there’s barely regular I.

Thanks, Danie - yeah, it was really a really easy going afternoon, which this reflects I think.

Yes, it completely goes in with the point of view of being entertaining. I don’t think that’s something Nolan prioritises for an audience. Unless that audience is 17 year old boys who take themselves too seriously.

Ok, was a bit concerned I didn’t remember to labelled this for nudity. I thought that Bluesky had helpfully done it for me. Hmm. Sexually suggestive but no nudity hasn’t really covered it.

“This warrants further study…” I’M SURE IT DOES

And hey, I’m essentially a comparatively recent hobbyist of Greek myth, so maybe I shouldn’t be so proprietorial.

But it does make me miss Ray Harryhausen (even more).

Maybe it’ll be a great retelling, and I’m completely wrong. This would not be the first of such occurrences.

It’s a good sign that at least the pitch was for one of the most seminal shows of the 90s. And not, like, Manimal.

Yeah, true. But I guess there’s only so much we can know without seeking it out.

Earlier today I saw a comment by someone referring to the musical Hadestown, “imagine not knowing how the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice ends!”

God that wound me up. So high-handed.

I think it’s also more to do with the fact that they’ve been kind of annoying all day. No matter what they said would’ve ticked me off

I mean, yes, can’t argue with that logic. I knew it wasn’t written for the film. But..
Ok, fair

“Oh it’s just something they do in films sometimes.”

It makes me think though, when people saw the first few minutes of Barbie, did some of them not realise it was referencing something, or was it just a surrealist masterpiece to them?
