I don't know who needs to hear this but in this age of time lapse videos and finished, polished final products, planning your comics and illustrations is very important. And slow down, doing things fast rarely ever makes them better.

Your reader is living paycheck to paycheck. Asking them to support you, too, is a losing pitch. However, these same folks will HAPPILY subscribe to things that bring them joy. Your Patreon/Substack/Kickstarter should be pitched as a small indulgence — not an economic obligation.
