We need male allies.

Maybe men to tell this TOWIE guy that doing club nights 48 hours after assaulting his girlfriend isn't right. And it's not about HIM and how "good" he feels.

Instead we have men on stage saying what a good guy he is.

Standing by your friends is not done by enabling them.

This was the biggest challenge when supporting a close friend to leave hospital - there was nowhere for him to go. He was too ill for most supported accomodation, and yet the local authority suggested 'you should try SpareRoom.com'.

In my 35 years in #mentalhealth poor #housing or a lack of has always been the thing that causes significant and enduring harm. Supported accommodation that is safe and close to one’s community is too hard to find. This is an important piece of research 👇🏼

While the Planning Guidance recognises mental health as a priority, it offers no additional funding for MH services to address rising levels of need. We urgently need the Government to invest in our mental health in the upcoming Spending Review to create a mentally healthier future.
