I bought some cheap yarn so I could start a new project and learn how to do color work. I hate it so so so much. I really hate how it feels on the needles and it’s not smooth to work with. I feel like I have to use it though since I bought it and I don’t like wasting things 😩

Knitting has felt like an act of rebellion to me. A rejection of fast fashion and a capitalistic abuse of human labor. It is a rejection of a society that wants us to be disconnected from ourselves, and a society that wants everything to be fast because we have already moved on to the next thing.

I will forgive and forget January 6th when I’m dead.
