The most ironic thing about all the gold standard people, is that gold is (as far as we know) more abundant in the solar system (let alone the galaxy) than the plants used to make the paper they wish to back with it, and the fuels we used to dig it up.

I cannot fathom the people who think they can get away with the blatant corruption.

The supreme court.

The entire administration.

The billionaires funding the whole debacle.

How many ways can we tell them?

Saying "Let them eat cake" ends poorly for THEM.

Hard headed...

Instead of funneling endless amounts of money into our bloated Pentagon budget while thousands of veterans face homelessness and hunger, let’s use those funds to truly take care of our veterans — ensuring every one has a home, food, and access to medical and mental health care.

It's frustrating to see calls for bipartisanship.

People consider themselves balanced for wanting to see both sides.

But if someone wants you and your family to suffer (not even die) through no fault of your own...

What sane person wants to meet them in the middle?

It isn't even hypothetical.

If social services are not a right to citizens then legal protections should not be a right to corporations.

I'd go further to say, there should be no protections for shareholders in corporations they knew there were risks involved why should the legal apparatus we pay our taxes into protect them?

Agreed! We must all do our part to reduce the consolidation of power amongst the few.
“Americans need to be confident that—even if they don’t work for a platform—they can reap what they sow. Restoring market balance is the key: an economy with many centers of power, not just a few.”

@moreperfectunion.bsky.social, proving why we should drop at least $1 to fund them. Toss paramount+ and spend that money on creators like this and more.

Investments in public transit and public services only increase the amount of money citizens have to spend and the places people without cars have to spend it.

They claim his policies hurt their businesses when they all give the masses more to spend on them.

Corporations do business on systems paid for by the tax payer. Without the government funded by taxes, no roads to ship goods, no legal system to enforce patents and contracts, no education system to train a workforce, no healthcare system to keep it healthy, no business.

I would personally advocate for converting his ballroom into the new National Museum of Political Corruption. Filling it with all the bribes and scandals in American history, starting with his. To rub salt in the wound, we need to add a marble statue of Barack Obama holding the scales of justice.

Reject corporate content whenever possible. Cancel your streaming services and use those funds to support your favorite creators and organizations. Either $15 a month for 1 decent show at best, or 15 channels dropping daily or weekly content for $1 a month each.
