This is no different than any code a dev starts from scratch though.
You can feed current code into the LLM and have it extend or base it off of that. Doesn't need to be new code generation.

Anyone who runs ANY code in production needs to be reviewed.
The worst code I have ever seen has been from humans (senior engineers with egos). Sonnet 4.5 takes less hand holding than the average junior.
The code can be good if you put a little effort in.

When ever I see anyone scream "ableist!!", I assume concern troll. These people are always disingenuous.
I've seen a big uptick in this over the last few years. Check their history, they often have posts that explain it.
