Jordan Love was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the NFL in 2025 but didn't have the volume of other top QBs.

Whoever is calling plays in 2026 has to find out if Love can shoulder a bigger burden and remain efficient.

The Packers have to find out if "Let Love Cook" is a viable path, regardless of who is calling plays
The future of Matt LaFleur may hinge on the degree to which Jordan Love can carry the Green Bay Packers offense. Whoever is calling plays has to see if Love can handle more in this offense.

The Packers can interview Jim Leonhard next week regardless of the outcome, but can't hire him until after his team is done playing.

Given that he left them at the altar last time, you'd like to be able to hire him ASAP if that's the plan.

Related: The Packers would be a fun location for Keon Coleman.

Presumably could be had for a late-round pick swap.

Played at Michigan State with Jayden Reed, and they don't have a player with his body type on the roster.

Low-risk.

We've heard about 3 candidates for the #Packers DC job, and while they come from different backgrounds, they have some key traits in common that tell us what Matt LaFleur is looking for.

Plus, is there MORE pressure to get this right than the last time?

Jonathan Gannon called a Fangio-esque style of defense in Philly.

They hired another Fangio tree guy after he went to AZ and then hired the actual Fangio after that.

Gannon's defense in Arizona was funky and weird. What would his base be if he got to pick?

The thing about Jonathan Gannon is Eagles fans were thrilled to see him leave, even after going to a Super Bowl.

On the other hand, they did some funky college-y stuff to try and make up for personnel deficiencies, and I like a problem solver.

Wanted to explore the “clutch” narrative for Matt LaFleur/Jordan Love.

This season including playoffs, the Packers were 1st in EPA/dropback and 3rd overall in EPA/play in the first three quarters.

That only moved to 5th in EPA/play and per dropback in the 4Q+OT.

TLDR: He's Flores-adjacent, but has diverse experience outside that system.
Daronte Jones has a VERY interesting history.

- Wisconsin DBs coach right before Jim Leonhard.

- DBs coach for Vance Joseph in Miami

- DBs in Cincy for Marvin Lewis, then Lou Anarumo kept him.

- Went to MN with Mike Zimmer

- DC at LSU

- Back in MN with Brian Flores

I would think it's funny ESPN kept showing Abella Danger during Miami games if I knew who that person was which I definitely don't why would you even ask what's funny about it I don't get it

One of the all-time program rebuilds. Indiana football was an afterthought. Now they're national champs.

One of the reasons I really like Christian Parker for the Packers has nothing to do with him being a former Packers coach.

He survived TWO different Broncos regime changes.

Coached for Vic Fangio. Nathaniel Hackett kept him. Then Sean Payton did too. Fangio wanted him back.

There’s a chance to go coach Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen out there.

I wonder if there’s a sitting head coach calling his agent like “let them know I’d be interested. Tell them to come get me.”

I wanted all the Matt LaFleur doubters to hear Micah Parsons talk about why this season was not his fault.

On today's @lockedonpackers.bsky.social we discuss why the #Packers need to take on the personality of their best player.

Why are you snapping it with that much time left on the play clock??
January 19, 2026 at 2:27 AM
The Bears have been offside 3+ times without a flag being thrown.

What the hell is going on??
January 19, 2026 at 2:07 AM
This makes it even more annoying the defense and special teams sold such a good Jordan Love game.

These two QBs playing like weapons grade ass
January 19, 2026 at 1:50 AM
Matt LaFleur has never lost to Sean McVay as a HC by the way.
January 19, 2026 at 1:10 AM
Jordan Love walked this defense down.

We expected Matthew Stafford would do the same with McVay, a better run game, OL and WRs.

And yet ...
