I usually only mention Patents issued to Nevadans in the 19th century, but... On Nov 18, 1975, Joseph Garaventa of Harrah's Club in Reno, NV received 14 year US Design Patent #237724 for his Game Chip design. He had a previous design patented in 1974. t.co/rPYYsuczQs
