I’m not being reductive, and I’m not pro-anyone losing their spot, but man, I truly can’t tell if these NXT names are even real or not. These articles are like “Sext Master” Cram Flanagan has been released, and I’m just out here like “Oh, I guess I hope Cram finds a good spot.”
My partner and I have been fortunate to meet @dragynwing.bsky.social for a defy show, which was such a fun experience, and I look forward to meeting @lacewings.bsky.social at a future one!
I like that this place isn't as big as the old place. I like recognizing the names. I like having slow moving, on-going discussions with the same folks. I like that I've connected to a few folks on here that wouldn't have been possible on the old site.
r/sc is a cesspool. It's a genuinely awful place, full of some of the worst takes, and straight up insane/garbage people. I hate that it's a good news aggregate.
I hate when I connect with someone on listening to podcasts. They’re always like “I listen to Antiquated Artistry: A Rich History of Political Discourse Through the Lens of Watercolor. What do you listen to?”
“Poop Town. It’s, uh…it’s from the Fart Box Bunch.”
Just watched Late Night With The Devil. I wouldn’t call it scary, but it was very interesting. I’m not even entirely sure what happened. I think it’s going to stick with me for a while.
You remember the way your mother used to be, and you vow to cherish the time you have left together.
Just then, you realize the grill is completely on fire. Rush runs over with a “I knew this would happen” look in his eyes. He’s carrying a pan and hands it to you.
Why can’t we all be perfect forever? Why do we disappear into the ether? Why does life have to be this way?
But maybe, maybe that’s what makes life so beautiful, the fact it’s finite, the fact that everything can change in just a second. A single tear rolls down your face, and you choke back more.
