If you're a figure from Greek mythology who emerged from an egg laid by your mother Leda, wife of the Spartan king Tyndareus, as a result of her doing the business with the sky and thunder god Zeus (who had disguised himself as a swan ... as you do) you can't be played by a black woman in a film. 🙄

Which of us can't recall being given $75,000 by a friend for no reason at all? 🙄

"Siri, show me an example of irony."

Dame Andrea Marie Jenkyns, (previously the Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Morley and Outwood in West Yorkshire, England from 2015 to 2024), says Reform UK should stop taking Conservative defectors to avoid an 'establishment takeover'.

A statement from Marco Rubio, (US Secretary of State under Trump), in May 2025, welcoming the agreement between the UK and Mauritius on the future of the Chagos Archipelago. 🙄

This is just another diversion. Publish the Epstein files.

Will we see Johnson, Farage et al, who squeaked so much about the UK's right to govern ourselves without interference during the EU referendum, tell Trump he can't invade Greenland just to divert people's attention from the Epstein files or because Norway wouldn't give him the Nobel Peace Prize?

The current Tory Party is about as stable as Birnam Wood.

In all the thousands of pages of the Epstein files, not one drag queen or trans person is mentioned. 🤔

I am waiting for the Manchurian Cantaloupe to demand that New York is re-named 'Trumpton' in his honour. Here's the reference for our non-UK viewers.

With Ben Bradley (no, me neither), defecting to Reform, there are now 22 ex-Tory MPs in Nigel's "We're nothing like them!" party. I saw Reform portrayed as, 'literally the political bin juice all sloshing around together underneath the rubbish bag', and never has a description been more apposite.

I can't believe no-one's done a 'Torn: Arse' AI version of this poster. What's the world coming to?

Today in 'Maths Is Fun ... Honest!' we look at the Venn diagram of people who say Farage was only 18 at the time and didn’t mean what he said, against the set of people who were certain Shamima Begum knew what she was doing at 15.

Initial calculations show the figure to be a circle.

The man who has appeared on 'Question Time' 38 times thinks the BBC is " ... institutionally biased".

The man who campaigned for us to leave the EU so we could govern ourselves free from outside interference is now happy for the US to interfere in the running of our public service broadcaster.

David Jones (former Tory Brexit minister): ‘Sir, it's quite possible that we were so desperate to get out of the EU that we came up with a very bad deal.’

I'm just waiting for all the 'free speech' warriors who were *so* upset about Lucy Connolly being sent to jail for saying asylum seekers should be burned alive in their hotels to leap to Fayaz Khan's defence for his death threats against Nigel Farage on TikTok.

1) Having led us to believe that Brexit would solve all our border issues, Farage and his chums are now telling us we need to leave the European Convention on Human Rights in order to solve the current migrant/asylum seeker crisis.
