Chemo made me lose most of my hair on my head and body, my eyebrows look pathetic, and my lashes are thinning. However, I still have to shave my armpits and pluck that one dark hair off my chin.

This really pulled on my heart strings, especially given my current life circumstances. But also growing up in Ljubljana in the 80's: the descriptions, the language, the setting, it all brought back so many memories. Beautiful work. Kresnik zaslužen!

Our trip to Perth ZOO today was described by my 5 year old as 'the best day ever', until I wouldn't buy her a life-size meerkat garden decoration from the gift shop.
