Some good news, lads. I'm delighted to confirm that the joy I unlocked by pronouncing Moby as "mobby" for the past few years, has now been exponentially outdone by referring to Cher as "chair". It's an absolute blockbuster. Few expect it. Everybody loves it. A mind weapon of immense power. 10/10.

One very underrated pick-me-up is deliberately mispronouncing things. Commit to saying "arples" or "bananners" and you'll see results in days. Only ever pronouncing Moby as "mobby" has been an absolute game changer for my mental health and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Here is a carrot my mother grew from scratch and just harvested for our dog.
A teensy, tiny carrot.

Couldn't make your February show at Littlefield, as I was recovering from surgery. I'd been hoping to catch it for months and was bitterly disappointed to miss it. I can't thank you or Dropout enough for this.

Movies as paper titles:

Splinter, M. et al. (1990). "Traditional ninjitsu training increases overall survivability (OS) in an adolescent cohort of wood turtles, Glyptemys insculpta, exposed to ionizing radiation in the New York sewer system." Rept Gen. 90(6):407-409.

100% agree. It also makes me feel better, and also better about myself—there's so much out there that makes me feel impotent, and so much about me that I don't like. Moving through the world choosing to brighten someone's day does make a difference, and is reflected back to me most of the time.

Actually had one whole Louis and three-quarters of a Niall (that's why he's sitting). I can't recall what movie we went to see after lunch, but I will ALWAYS remember those two tweens coming up to our table at the Grand Central food court and asking to take pictures.

Throwback to meeting you in person for the first time ever with this guy in tow.
A cardboard standee of a young Niall Horan (sometime around the Up All Night era), sitting at a kitchen table in front of a stove.

Fridge dive = ploughman's lunch indoor picnic and NaddPod Ep. 2.
A ploughman's lunch on a large olive-green plate. Clockwise: red grapes, toasted and buttered whole grain bread, cherry tomatoes on the vine, cornichons, honey smoked ham, a hard-boiled egg, a few small slices of cheddar, and some apple slices, all surrounding a small dish of Branston pickle. There is also a small bottle of Martinelli's pear cider.

Screenshot of an Instagram story by Bianca Xunise, it includes a photo of them in a hospital bed. The text reads: "Hey y'all I kinda got hit by a car yesterday. My head and my drawing hand took the worst lf it. As a result I had to drop some gigs I needed so I can rest and recover. I'm taking a financial hit rn I could really use some support. If you can throw something my way to help bridge the gap and some after care that'll be awesome"

This post brought to you by my last vanilla & cream yogurt and my failure to pick up dark chocolate peanut butter cups on my last TJ's run.

Y'all. Y'ALL.

Swirl peanut butter through the yogurt, then pour melted dark chocolate over the top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Freeze till you can crack the lid with a spoon for that oh-so-good crème brûlée satisfaction.
