SLR, 300SL for sure I think are shocking cars to behold that are supercars.

The Viper is an exotic for me in that same vein, million liter engine, more than 8 cylinders, exotic engine note, the shock of seeing one..

I think if you saw a 250 Testarossa or Bentley Blower you could argue both were also supercars and that just adds to the list.
The most brazen one is the Bugatti Atlantic for me.
*That* is a supercar. Miura is the first one to be called one and the MR layout is certainly it...

Well--300SL Gullwing gets you "mother of god what IS this thing" in spite of it being front engined.
So to me it's something that shocks you to qualify.
Modern car wise--exotic powerplant, mid engine, wild looks.
Not a 911, not a Cayman/Boxster, not an Evora/Emira--those are sports cars.

Going to the museum though they really were very non-chalant about the Nazi connection.
Porsche almost didn't mention it, BMW on the other hand was like a lovely shrine "we did slave labor, we were bombed, this is what happened".
Mercedes: "zee party funded us"

They definitely look wider than I’d think, the rear track being narrower than the front surely helps the illusion!

This might sound bad but you must remember, it could be worse: 320si/335i/N62 owners are praying their engine doesn't blow up. We are golden.

Some teething issues with the E36 have piled up:
>handbrake won't hold (Classic old BMW)
>bouncy idle when hot or cold (coolant temp sensor?)
>requires two cranks/key cycles when hot starting
It makes reversing into this spot a PSP cheat code
Will fix em at some point! #cosmic3er

Yeah the concept is ripe—the 86 is an unfortunate choice were you to actually do it beyond a concept car, especially with so few surviving atp

I'm still blown away by the fact it uses the helper motor for a PHEV Tundra up front and a GR86 gearbox.
This is the sort of Toyota parts-catalog usage I'm here for.

The range of like 90kms didn't surprise me though and even still, this looks like so, so much fun.
