I've been sick today with a stomach bug. But I wanted to take a second and let you know that my adventures in Atlantic Canada continue, and that I'm very happy here. I feel fortunate. It's a friendly, beautiful place & I have hope that I might be able to live the rest of my life in a free country. 🇨🇦

Listening to this episode now & it's such a delight! Reminiscing about Amiga was wonderful (Team Atari ST for the MIDI) but moreso the game. Gold Box & D&D games were my jam! Played everyday after school. It's funny--actually skipped Ultima Underworld cuz it looked too much like Eye of the Beholder😆

Games are a beautiful art form but the games industry can be a pretty harsh and rotten place sometimes.
Social media has become such a fragmented commercial hellscape that I sometimes forget why I ever started using it: to keep up with people I care about, and to meet new people. It's harder and harder to do either on any social platform, but I still lurk here and other places every day. I wonder why?
