Wow, half a million cars?

That's way out of whack considering there are only *checks notes* 298.7 million cars registered in the United States alone.

Or, in other words, inhalers that many people need to live are 0.16% of the problem that cars are.

Damn, when you put it like that.....

feels like yet again time to mention that the *videogames* industry (that's a creative industry, which people do creative degrees in) brings in more than twice the amount to the British economy as the fishing and steel industries *combined*

I cannot understand what these people think the purpose of human life is?

It is *not* "pursue joy, deal justly, love well, try to understand as much and see as much of this beautiful world and of the deepness, richness and variety of human culture and experience as you can before you die"?

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

The Nordic countries are not only post cash, we are post cards too.

We realised on the way to the airport in Iceland that we forgot to bring any credit cards (because we never use them) and five days later it turns out that we don’t need them in Sweden or Denmark either, phones are enough 👌🏼

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.
