In my next works, i want to introduce some basic shading, even if the results are closer to sketches yet again. My last Ina-fanart is showing me that i'm far from ready to work on more complex or more refined works.

(also, i need to greatly reduce my doomwatching on YT to get better time to draw)

I don't know what it was today, but i didn't have the motivation to start in time despite having all the time i could have wanted. Maybe i was just too tired to not rely on urgency?

I think i understand why i'm so hesitant to practice shading. I'm not comfortable with the tools and procedures. I don't want to set up lots of layers with layer-modes, lasso-select specific shapes, or to set up layer-masks and the likes. I need a simple method that works for beginners like me.

How many times do we need to teach them supposedly experienced ones the same damn lesson? Criticizing another's body never goes well unless it's purely about one's health. Anything else is objective and has no need to be brought up!
