They’re interesting to watch in that sense to be sure, I just wish more filmmakers had different takes on the story as well as the presentation. Herzog and Guy Maddin are the only ones I felt highlighted something new from the text, and even then it’s still the exact same plot.

Oh ok. In that case you shouldn’t listen to my advice bc we clearly just enjoy movies in different ways haha. I am so sick of Dracula adaptations.

Nosferartu (2024) was the 15th Dracula movie I’ve watched in the past 2 years and I have to tell you, do not do this. Shadow of the Vampire is fine, but otherwise it’ll just be watching the same movie 4 times in a row. If anything watch the old ones after and let the new one be thrilling.
