But what counts as a spoiler? How long does it stay a spoiler? Where can it be discussed?

Its all arbitrary.

That makes spoilers YOUR discretion, so its YOUR responsibility to handle it.

If you're sensitive to spoilers: log off, and come back when you're caught up.

We just need everyone who enjoys Topic to go to the sanctioned Topic Spoiler Discussion zone. The rest of Topic Discussion zone will not discuss Topic, because we dont know how far Topic enjoyers are into Topic. When everyone has engaged with Topic, we will open True Topic Discussion Zone.

They enjoyed something and want to talk about it.

In places SPECIFICALLY for talking about it.

You're adding severity here, and my point is, NONE of this is severe.

I feel like you keep agreeing with me? Its counter productive to try and hope you can avoid a glaringly obvious flaw in online spaces.

So either take responsibility for not being able to take a break from your phone to engage with the topic you enjoy

Its a very fixable inconvenience, we agree. Fix it by engaging with the topic you enjoy, instead of getting upset when other people want to talk about it.

I just dont understand:

Caring enough to avoid spoilers, but not enough to engage with Topic.

BUT also enough that you go to Topic Discussion Land.

You're asking the world to wait for you, which i think is more inconsiderate than Discussing Topic in "Topic Discussion Land"

Again, why go to the place that discusses the topic before you've engaged with the topic?

Finish engaging with the topic, then check out the discussion zone.

The neighborhood shouldn't have to wait for you to announce you've finished taking a walk in order to take their dogs out.

Those threads are annoying to navigate, and it would be more fun if people could post moments and memes outside of them as soon as an episode airs.

You do not need to go to a place for discussing the topic, if you havent engaged with the topic.

Go engage with the topic, come back later.

In private conversation, sure. But if I miss an episode of survivor and go to the survivor reddit the next day, its childish to assume they're going to wait for me to catch up.

If you care about spoilers, you have to avoid social media. Or consume whatever you're worried about being spoiled relatively quickly.

People want to talk about the things they enjoy on social media, its going to happen.

Spoilers: you should have figured this out 10 years ago.
