Part of how the Secretary of Education can ensure states have information on best practices is to invest in data and research. This administration has all but decimated the Institution of Education Sciences. That support to states, that McMahon said she wants to offer, is gone.

Every child deserves the right to learn in a safe space with tools to succeed. McMahon says private schools can pick & choose who they educate. We need to ensure federal dollars stay in public schools. Remind McMahon that is her new job. Sign our letter to protect public schools -- bit.ly/4gLxdK0

McMahon has said repeatedly that the Administration is not trying to cut education funding. That means they oppose the House Republican proposal to cut Title I by about $5 billion, right?

Linda McMahon is on the record now saying it is "not the President's plan to defund the programs" in ED, but our educators, students, and families deserve details for the many critical programs that provide support, services, and even food for children nationwide.

Voters agree with @sanders.senate.gov. 68% of voters want to increase funding for public schools over vouchers. We let the voters speak for themselves, our next Education Secretary should too.
