We are around 120 hours from the NBA Trade Deadline. Will the Sixers try to duck the tax, improve the team, or both? The Paul George suspension changes things, but under recently Epstein outed owner Josh Harris, it's been a mixed bag...

The Paul George suspension is huge for the Sixers at the deadline, but it hits both ways. They are now just around $1m over the luxury tax so they will likely dodge it. HOWEVER, this is now easier to do while also improving the team. Everything just changed for Daryl Morey
January 31, 2026 at 6:04 PM
Paul George of the Sixers has been suspended for 25 games for violating the NBA's anti-drug program. While this stinks for the team's on court competitiveness, it does save around $6m in luxury tax, which is important with the trade deadline next week.

The Phillies offseason was trash, but it's not like they could have done any better! Yeah, that's bullshit. Here is a look at all the major deals and what alternatives were out there.
I've been critical of Dave Dombrowski and the Phillies offseason, but was there really a better path forward? Absolutely! Just by waiting, the Phillies could have upgraded with Harrison Bader, Kazuma Okamoto, and bringing back our beloved Ranger Suarez

The Vikings fired their GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah today. He built a good team around a tough decision to gamble on QB. Now they have a vet roster with no QB and are in big trouble. I've had a draft going on this story for while. It will come out soon, I thought I had more time!

OR
2. Jeff Lurie gives Sirianni control of player personnel decisions and demotes Howie Roseman?
