Iowa State, Philly Sports and I worship at the feet of Ari Aster and Quentin Tarantino.
Samuel L. Jackson. Endless supply of movies from so many different genres. Goodfellas, Star Wars, Marvel, Tarantino movies before Hollywood, Time to Kill, the list goes on forever. You’ll have a new movie every night for a year.
This is a Bill Simmons game, but you’re stranded on a desert island. You can only have one actor’s filmography. You get it all, including cameos. But just the one performer.

I’m taking Cate Blanchett: Talented Mr. Ripley, LOTR, Life Aquatic, Black Bag, Tár, Ponyo, Hot Fuzz, Eyes Wide Shut, Thor

Like this hire. The school and the fan base had to be okay with an old school coach who will rub a lot of people the wrong way, but he’ll have mostly winning seasons and probably won’t embarrass the program.
SOURCE: Michigan State is now finalizing the deal to hire Pat Fitzgerald as its new head coach, @theathletic.com has learned.

The Detroit Free Press first reported the expected hire.

Very crazy but very possible scenario to play out in the next couple weeks- Kalen DeBoer leaves Alabama to go to Penn State because she’s had enough of southern boosters and miserable fans. Nick Saban comes back to Alabama with Brian Daboll as his OC for 2 years until Daboll is ready.

The AFC South now has 3 versions of the Philadelphia Eagles fighting for the division with 5 games to go. Jaguars(because they are so flawed and survive so many games they should lose) now lead, the Colts(hot start and have cooled the fuck off) are tied and Texans(elite D, offense stinks) rt behind.

Should leverage this into a long term offer. Ole Miss has a shot to get to the title game. Can’t do it if the coaches leave. Probably get left out if that’s the case.
SOURCE: Ole Miss players were told defensive coordinator Pete Golding will be the head coach in place of Lane Kiffin for at least the playoff run, @theathletic.com has learned.

Good by both sides here and SEC bragging rights for Florida.
Florida says that Jon Sumrall will finish out the season with Tulane. American championship game next weekend, and potentially the CFP after that.

Thanksgiving Week is really when the NFL season starts. Nobody goes 2-4 in this stretch or even 3-3 and makes the Super Bowl. This is where teams get hot and teams lacking depth or just missing too many guys to injuries start to fade out. Also bad coaches who have winning records become frauds.
November 30, 2025 at 6:14 PM
Lane will leave LSU for the NFL the first chance he gets and he probably leaves that team after his first bad year for another SEC job.
November 30, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Ole Miss should pick an assistant t and let him coach the playoff game with the same staff and give him a 5 year contract with a lower buyout before the game. Keep the staff and program intact.
November 30, 2025 at 3:52 PM
This is another team like Philly who keeps surviving weird games and is no where near as good as their record might indicate. Could easily see them finishing at 8-9. It’s probably how the Chiefs get in.
November 30, 2025 at 2:49 AM
Miami is going to miss the playoffs again which sucks because they actually played two really good teams in their non conference schedule plus Florida, but also if they just beat shitty ACC teams at home they’d be in.
November 30, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Iowa State and Tennessee both finish 8-4. Iowa State beat 6 teams who will make a bowl game or FCS playoff game(South Dakota already won their first round game). Tennessee beat zero teams with a winning record or FCS playoff game. They won 4 SEC games. How is this possible?
November 30, 2025 at 2:01 AM
Couple theories on Lane Kiffin. One, he isn’t deciding on LSU, it’s Florida State. Two, the Giants are in play and he wants another NFL shot. Don’t tell me the NFL would never give him another shot, Chip Kelly got one immediately after destroying the Eagles.

For those wanting to expand the CFB Playoff, the extra four team we would get would be: Vandy, Texas, BYU, and Utah. I’m good. Honestly it should be the top 2 conferences 2 title game participants and the next four ranked conference winners with an independent getting in of they outrank one. 8!

Playoff seeds right now should be

1OSU
2Indiana
3Georgia
4Texas Tech
5Oregon
6Ole Miss
7Texas A&M
8Oklahoma
9Notre Dame
10Bama
11ACC
12Tulane

Miami first in if someone loses
Texas behind them.

If SMU or Virginia lose today, it gets interesting. Miami can take ACC seed.

Michigan player inches away from being ejected. I think he expected an OSU player to be in his face. Officials need to not get into players faces.
November 29, 2025 at 5:45 PM
The great thing about Ohio State/Michigan is it tends to lean one directed for several years in a row. Lloyd dominated Cooper, Tressel and Urban dominated Michigan, now Day can’t beat Michigan. It adds so much for one side to go four or five years without winning this game.
November 29, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Why would Eagles fans turn on their defending champions? Look at every win, outside of the Giants win 38-20 there isn’t a win with two good halves. They escaped with victories over the Bucs, Rams, Lions, Packers, and Cowboys. Chiefs game could have gone either way and they were without their top WRs
November 29, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Assuming the Bears don’t lose to the Browns, they actually win the tiebreaker over the Rams.
November 28, 2025 at 10:41 PM
It’s insane to fire a coach who has gone to the playoffs 5 straight years, won a Super Bowl and lost another, but my god when he loses this team he really fucking loses his team.
November 28, 2025 at 10:37 PM
If the Eagles collapse again, you have to consider firing Sirianni. That’s twice in 3 years of just epic collapses and there’s no way he still has command of that locker room.
November 28, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Happy for Bears fans, even when they went to the playoffs this century they were a very flawed team. They deserve some offensive success.
November 28, 2025 at 10:35 PM
Need more first down runs with Barkley, gotta abandon rollouts until run game gets going and let Hurts air it out with the receivers.
November 28, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Rollout with multiple backs to Lane’s side and a 2nd and 10 run.
