I've gotten to a point where my capacity for empathy has truly been gouged by bad experiences & people & cosplayer drama
I want/need a diff vibe and lately, local cons/events aren't it.

While I do like cons, I feel pretty burnt out about them in general, especially when the cost of living is so outrageously high, logistics+girlmathing is not worth the mental energy that I could be using to make art or better take care of myself (I don't want to keep falling apart)

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the girl math some people try to do to pay for con through "money glitch". Like, almost scummy when it's volunteer-ran, small non-profit. Things cost money, it's fine if you lobbycon or just... not go? Not the end of the world to like...wait?

I can hardcode things, wtv, but bc there's some things I want to do (e.g.: archival photo pgs) that require more organization and there's just... a lot of data to be populated, having the gen done for me is just Nice To Have, and it's there.

What I really need is "An Absolute Moron's Guide to 11ty" that is at the level of my tech illiteracy, that spells out the framework a bit better so I know what looks "right" and "wrong"
