#Koblenz 🇩🇪 Hbf. in November 2005: a #DB Class 181.2 dual voltage loco, able to operate under 15 kV and 25kV AC overhead wires, has just been coupled onto an #InterCity for #Luxembourg 🇱🇺. The line follows the #Mosel valley, making this a very scenic ride.

The diesel shunter visible in the distance has just pushed her from under the “Austrian” 15kV AC catenary to the “Italian” 3kV DC section and the engine driver has raised the pantograph.
