Spent today rereading Sleight of Hand. I love the way that Eddie panics and runs but its just that he needs space to process his feelings... he just hasn't matured enough to ask for that. Steve on the other hand just being sure and steady and moving through scary new things like its nothing

If Henry Creel had known Eddie Munson's potential, he would have dropped everything to get to him. All his plans. All his schemes. Who needs them when you've got a boy who can reshape time? Who can fracture it like lighting?

Fortunately, Henry hadn't known.

Unfortunately, Eddie hadn't either.
So we saw another Munson grave at the cemetery and I was leafing through my "World of Stickers" book, and I was curious if the text was readable so I used my camera to zoom in (check alt text to read)

Very puzzling

If I hear "[x] people have no media literacy" instead of "I have a different opinion" one more time, I'm going to scream!

Art is subjective and can be read through various lenses. There isn't a right answer. You can add your interpretation or knowledge or opinion without insulting everyone else.

As someone who is looking to buy a house...

FUCK FLIPPERS!

You are trying to sell me a house you bought a month ago and all you did was stick down cheap ass gray laminate floors and paint everything graige. Then double the price. I am not paying more to undo the shit you did! Fuck off!

Don't mind me, I'm just staring at Will Rochfort paintings at 1am and feeling wonder and creativity. Just weird little guy things. All normal like.

Tell me why my husband, who had been snoring and absolutely passed out for the last two hours, just rolled over, shook me to get my attention (take my noise canceling headphones off), and asked me if there was a way to change the temperature in here? Then pouted when I laughed at him because no.

I need you all to know, as someone who is not planning to watch season 5 any time soon ... if at all. I am very much enjoying the out of context reactions. Can't wait for all of the rewrites coming my way soon.

New Harrington Sibling fic dropped today? Idk if I've ever been more invested in a bunch of OCs. Can't wait to see what happens.

I made a silly little comment on a tiktok video like a month ago...

That comment has more likes than anything I have ever made or put actual effort into. It is still getting likes every day.

I wish to be freed from these notifications. I couldn't even tell you why that comment in particular.

Me reading an ARC that doesn't come out until next spring, that is the end to a series and having the floor dropped out from under me. I am never free of the "your favorite character is going to die" curse. Apparently even in a romance series and their HEA was 8 books ago. (lies and slander)

Sometimes having the pattern recognition gene sucks ... because you get 30% of the way into a book and already know the Shape of Things™️.

It's why I get so delighted when an author surprises me*.

*As long as it makes sense for the narrative. If you surprise me with bullshit, I don't want it.

Celebrate #IndigenousHeritageMonth as we discuss fiction books by indigenous authors across Turtle Island; from #romance to #horror with authors who are Chickasaw (though the characters are Muscogee), Métis, and Inuit.

"It's long for a oneshot, but I couldn't break it up..."

"This chapter is shorter than the others. I feel bad..."

"This chapter ran away from me so I had to..."

Babes. Darlings. Lights of my life. It's YOUR story. There are no secret rules about word count. Stop body shaming your chapter length.

I love horror so much... but I've now read so many in a row that I need a detox until next year. That does mean that the second part of my "best books of last year" project is finally up!

People clown on those of us who are lactose intolerant for constantly eating dairy. All of my favorite foods put me in intestinal distress. Yes, I have dairy substitutes, but most of them either don't have enough fat to be creamy or fuck up the flavor. Do you want coconut flavored chowder? IDTS.

It feels pointless to hope... I feel like we will be outbid immediately, but maybe not. Not if the vibes are right.
Anybody that wants to put out good vibes... My partner and I are putting an offer on a house today. I need like everyone to cross their fingers and toes for us because the market here is absolutely ass and finding a house in this condition at this price point in our area is actually insane.

Do you think there are Marcus the Worm from VR Chat fics?

Asks a person with an ao3 account and the knowledge/ability to look this up.

I just want to wonder for a little while. Let my mind try and conjure up what those would even be.

SHHHH! I def. didn't accidentally schedule this for tomorrow and have to panic post it just now...

Anyway, if you can get a copy of this just to read La Huesera (the last story), it's worth it. However, we had some issues with the rest of it.

Guys this is criminally under read right now. It needs more love. Rock bottom Rock Star Eddie and Dead End Depressed Steve find the love they walked away from 5 years ago. Actually so fucking good.

When I see someone online talking about a book that sounds amazing, but it hasn't been published in the US yet, and the "government" has made it so that I can't order it! I just wanna read the weird book where a woman eats her dead partner and is also a blazing indictment of capitalism!

I have 3 hours of an audiobook left (on 3x speed while physically reading it at the same time because adhd is a bitch and accessibility tools are rad actually) that is due back at the library in 9 hours. Guess its time for a hot tea, a cozy blanket, and locking in.

Throwing this out into the ether in case anyone would want to do it.

Gretchen and I have a monthly (not quite a) book club. We meet over Zoom with bookish friends and discuss the things we've been reading for our channel. We are short 1 guest for November... would any of my moots be interested?
