My husband did a double take at him. "THAT'S Ted Wheeler. No fucking way." Idk how he turns off his soul for that character.

Things to say instead:

"Oh, that's interesting. I actually think [insert evidence here] suggests [insert differing opinion here]."

"Based on [insert niche experience/knowledge/correlation] I feel like [insert differing opinion here] is possible."

"I disagree, but what made you feel that way?"

Literally this! It's snake oil salesmen but its artificially driving up the housing market at the same time! Or maybe scalpers is a better comparison? Either way its awful and I'm not opposed to a house that needs cosmetic shit. I can paint. I can't fix the foundation though.

For clarification we don't have control over the heat in our apartment aside from opening and closing the radiators. Once the landlord turns the heat on, it's on. Also we've lived here for over 5 years... he knows this. It was such a silly thing and I know he won't remember in the morning.

I needed to double take because my quick scan of this read it as "Chekhov's camel toe" and I was very confused. This makes way more sense.

I think this is why I can't read the same genre too many times in a row (even if its a genre I love). If I spend too much time in one place, everything flattens to base components and loose all luster.

What a world they must live in to not see that most things are just echos of something else.

I am the person shouting on the street corner that big word count is trying to control us all.

Glad it helped.

I can honestly say I have never once cared about a chapter being too short or too long. I'm just happy to spend time with my silly lil guys and whatever new adventure they are on.
