In a queue for the self checkouts and the old woman in front of me was veering off to the side instead of moving forwards.

If I was running a magazine subscription service that offered a gift option where the recipient gets a code emailed to them on Christmas day, I wouldn't have a tick box on the sign up page that says "I understand this subscription will start immediately", that's all.

The best way to clean the inside of your windscreen is to put a towel over the dashboard, then use a wet cloth with warm water and washing up liquid to wipe the surface and dry with a squeegee. Crystal clear, no smears. #PiffleTip

Just been round to the parents because the power kept going off. Process of elimination has identified the oven as the culprit.
"Can we use it on a low heat?" No. It's tripping the circuit breaker. "What about later?" Yes, if you've fixed it before then. "Can you have a look?" ... *sigh*
