i think i also may just be a little tired of metroidvanias at the moment. silksong probably satiated me for a good while, given how much video game there was there.

posessor(s) has really strong combat and writing but i am growing increasingly annoyed and bored with its platforming and exploration... and the combat can only carry it so far with the really low enemy variety, areh.

one of my deep-held video game opinions is that if you are implementing a ladder into your game you have done something wrong. climbing ladders is one of the least enjoyable activities in video games and i always jump up them whenever i'm allowed because it's always faster and more fun.

loving this persistent issue in windows 11 where window priority is completely screwed up so most pop up windows start appearing behind windows randomly rendering most things unusable until i restart! it's very cool.

started posessor(s) which is pretty fun so far but i think. uhh. the devs didn't quite balance this right. i found an item that lets me parry slash counterattack, which has an unusually large window, costs no energy until it hits, thus can be spammed pretty much infinitely.
it's also crazy strong.
