requirement by airing short public interest programs very early on Sunday mornings. It did not prohibit lies, it did not require truthfulness. It did not apply to news reporting, it applied only to editorial content.

Moreoever, it did not then and could not now apply to cable and streaming.

Pretty much the same as they are now. People seem to think that the FD had some huge impact. In reality, it required only that broadcast tv & radio stations allocate some time to discussion of issues of public interest and, in so doing, present different points of view. They often fulfilled this

They ARE entitlements and that is a GOOD THING. In the context of federal budget policy, the word entitlement is synonymous with mandatory. MUST BE PAID. Not subject to the annual discretionary appropriations process. The word is right in the statutue: "...shall be entitled to an old-age insurance

There was an order to show cause (why it shouldn't be sent back to state court). The response from the defendants was due 10/9. No hearing scheduled so the court may be deciding it on the papers. No response due from the defendants until 6 days after the issue of sending it back to state court is

You can't deposit a check made out to a trust to a business account. It has to go into the trust account.

He never says what the bank told him, if anything, about why the deposit was reversed. I am guessing he deposited a phony check and they determined it was phony, so they reversed the credit.
