After watching a movie in which this was a plot point, I told The Mister that if he killed me, I wouldn't come back as a gray corpse with a hoard of rats. I'd be mosquitos, leeches, ticks. If he wanted to get rid of me, he'd have to spend eternity squashing my fat, blood-sucking ass. True love 💚

I'm trying to change my mindset this year. Not a resolution or "new year, new me", just a realization that I need to work on inner peace. I'm making a conscious effort to be more grateful and I've started following Tai Chi tutorials to get myself moving (albeit not gracefully lol). It's very needed.

This book is DELIGHTFUL. And while it may be delightful for all the wrong reasons, it’s incredibly engaging. Gushing with blood, explosive rage, and body parts, it pulls you in from the opening paragraph. The author does an incredible job making this both completely accessible and enthralling. 📚🩸
