Hillary Clinton to James Comer:

“Let’s have it — in public. Cameras on. We’ll be there.”

Meanwhile Donald Trump is suddenly:

“It’s a shame.”
“I always liked Bill.”
“Hillary’s very capable.”

That’s preemptive appeasement. He's scared.

Republicans cooked their own goose with the Clintons testifying

Democrats say Republicans have set a precedent with subpoenas of an ex-president and first lady. "We will follow it ... Donald Trump, all of his kids. Everybody," Rep. Maxwell Frost said.

The SpaceX/xAI merger situation is actually pretty important and, I think, very bad. "Data centers in space" is a bit of a pipe dream, but SpaceX now dominates low-Earth orbit in a highly concerning way. Starlink is real and could monopolize a lot of things. Not Good!

NEW: Abigail Spanberger this afternoon ordered that all state agencies leave ICE's 287(g) program.

This means that the state police (and some other agencies) will no longer be empowered to detain and arrest people for ICE.

Big, big move by the governor within weeks of coming into office.
