Sea defences, like a fun roller coaster for the most ambitious waves 🌊.

Sea defences? No but I do see de curvy wall!
Um… this is a Medium Format film photograph of a curved sea wall above some large rocks designed to break waves, at Torcross in Devon. It’s a misty and overcast day. Two figures are skimming stones in the distance

Yep I realised I was following you from @filmcameras.uk but not my personal account, so remedied that. JCH… think I am, but I’ll check 👍

Thought I was already following you, but it’s on my other @filmcameras.uk account. Thanks, done.

Right… you’re all great and everything

…but I think I have capacity for some more nice photography and camera nerdery.

Any personal recommendations? Who’s posting interesting analogue stuff, whilst managing to lay off the politics, doom or football 😅 (purposely not hashtagging this)

A small section of Overbeck’s Garden that I really liked. The vivid colours from afternoon sun bouncing around this wood-framed greenhouse and all the plants in it made the place very welcoming.

A metal stepped and slatted shelf with three levels, each supporting several succulents in terracotta pots. The colours suggest bright afternoon sun. This is a colour medium format film photo

Without using a search engine or other reference system, do you know why the names 'Franke & Heidecke' are significant?

For want of a polling system here, perhaps you could 'like' or reply with a thumbs-up if you do.

It's kind of ruining us isn't it...

I still love wearing mine, but being in the UK folks over about 50 do sometimes actually recognise them. My old mate Kev wears his because he was - apparently - arrested in one in Manchester in the 80s 😂

A few people from the Vintage Prescott (VSCC) event in August. I really want to photograph more people, just need to be braver. #BelieveInFilm #FilmPhotography

Two older guys peer into the engine bay of a vintage race car, whilst one of them makes adjustments to a carburettor. The image is square format on medium format colour film. A guy leans against the rear wheel of his vintage race car eating some sandwiches between timed runs. This is a square colour film photograph taken on a medium format camera.

Out of interest, is the Rolleicord Bay 1 or 2?

When I got this Rolleiflex I was also given a bag of “bits that might be to do with it”. I immediately lost this bag until yesterday! Quite excited to find – after lots of reading & learning about Rollei accessories – close-up (Rolleinar 1) adapters & a hood in it.

Soo… we shouldn’t send you to eBay listings right?

Less grumpy in the morning, or through the whole day? Asking for a friend (wife).

This hill is a bit crickley, but I love it.

A bucolic scene of a hill side, with various trees and shrubs and grasslands leading into a valley, basin and more distant hills. In the foreground a stone wall disappears off to the right. This is a colour film photo.

Always meant to try this, never have. The results are great! Much tonal post pro needed? For some reason I assume XP2 in B&W process will turn out sepia. Not sure why I think this.

We started using the log burner on Friday night, it’s a nice time of year. Not _quite_ ready for beanies yet though.

Well this is pleasing 😊.
Somewhere to store batteries for my AA-hungry Nikon F5 when it’s not in use. PET-G filament, not my model.

Great, thanks. Yes having that value makes it far easier to understand the scale for me. They make excellent images 👌

Does HFW value mean that this image represents is 3.5 mm wide?
