How I started making indie games:
- I started with the 3D game maker when I was 12 (?)
- Then FPS Creator but ran like crap
- a couple of projects in RPGMMV
- a couple of gamjams with friend but I was the artist friend
- my serious project was made in PGMMV

Nah but for real we have (placeholder) SFX!!! and thanks to my sensei's inexplicable talent for tech wizardry, we've got complex pathing AND really wild particle math that is gonna make level design and effect creation EZ

Wrote a new shader for color swapping. With my old one I had to specify every source color and swap in the editor, and it was limited to one palette.
Now the source colors and swaps are just taken from a texture.

If you have software on Steam and it's been crashing lately, check discord's setting for detection. I had blender and AGM crashing this weekend and discord was the culprit for some reason. I had to toggle detection or just close the app.

I've downloaded UE4 and I like how the editor looks, much more than the minimalistic look of UE5.
