Like he’s giving beauty and the beast like there’s still a person there I wanted him to have that classic dog face with teeth so big it looks like he’s in agony in his own body. He’s so docile in arcane he’s the UNCAGED WRATH OF ZAUN where is his unending thirst for blood
Ngl when I saw the 2XKO Warwick drop to really hit me how bad they fumbled the bag on him in arcane they baited us so hard with the teaser like why is he slow fleshy and human I want that DOG

By the way the worst part about this is that Vi and Jinx’s mom wasn’t dead in this shot. The show very consistently takes the shine out of eyes when a character dies. She was either still a little bit alive or she was paralyzed and died from dehydration or from her body being disposed of.
I would also like to add that this seems to be reserved for DEEP trauma because Jinx only loses hers after her whole family dies AND Vi blames her but some emotionally hurt characters or traumatized characters after time still have all their shine like Caitlyn after her mom died or Vi after prison
Jayce also loses one after he spends some time in the pit but he gets it back when Viktor becomes Viktor again (not just in his mind but specifically when he becomes himself again) that’s so quality Jayvik right there
I find it interesting the way the animators use the shine in characters eyes to convey the way they’re feeling. Jinx is the most obvious example of this and in the scene where Vi hits her you can actually see the shine leave her eyes. Characters who are dead have no shine at all
