this was previously a bioactive for a gecko I've been meaning to redo for months now; I wasn't happy with it + wanted to waterproof the background more than I had because it's wet all of the time

I can't verify it, but I'm pretty certain Haro is blind, or at least HEAVILY visually impared. not the biggest deal for a ball python, thankfully, but I need to think about how to move forward with her enclosure if I decide to change it around 🤔🤔

second check went well, no one has lost weight except Cas, who's lost about 5%...not enough to pull him out, but more than I was expecting. if he loses another 8-10% I'll pull him out early. gotta get his enclosure nice and cleaned in the meantime -_-

I found my new poeci passed away yesterday, sad but as always, these things happen :/ I'm thinking I accidentally got her too dry? or too cool? mix of both?

regardless, gonna take this as a sign to stay out of poecis for now. the OW itch is satisfied with my OBT

yes situla are great! I've seen a few and they really are striking.

there's a lot of people in the US working with Zamenis. I know someone with normal and melanistic persicus and they're tempting 👀

sauromates are on my short list for species I want to keep next, they seem every bit as gorgeous and fun to keep! were they fairly easy for you to find in the EU? they're basically unheard of here.

Gold has been a very intermittent eater since the onset of fall, glad that he gobbled up both fuzzies this week! (Kiki, however, is devastated, because she gets whatever he doesn't eat)
