I spent a long portion of time dreading "having to make something today" and that all time spent drawing was a boring punishment. Then I just kinda flipped a switch and saw it as a way to focus on something and make things instead of just doomscrolling or idly gaming.

Don't tell yourself that art is a chore or a hassle to do, treat it like it is a joy and a passion, that its not "something that needs to be done" but is instead something to do out of your own volition. Not only will it feel better to make, you'll probably be happier with the result.
