I finished my #ripplecroptopworsted by #jessiemaed last weekend! It is super stretchy and feels so squishy! I was originally planning to do a jumper next but instead I’ve started another t-shirt from this pattern, this time with HHF Tweedy!

The yarn is Bendigo Woollen Mills’ Luxury 10-ply in the shade Lavender. Part of it had been frogged from a previous crochet project, hence was kinked, but it still evened out and is lovely and soft after blocking!

I finished my #StepByStepSweater! I am pleasantly surprised and relieved at how well the dodgy kinked yarn blocked out. This was the second knit project I tried (after a sock) so I learned a lot and look forward to starting another jumper soon!

I finally got back to the toe on my 2nd sock! This was my first real knitting project (before going rogue with a jumper & shirt instead of finishing)! They’re not perfect but I learned *so much* and I can’t wait to apply it with more #sockknitting!

I didn’t love my #knittingwip #SoSummerShirt so I restarted in a different yarn last Friday and thanks to super hot weather keeping us in, finished a sock-weight top in 8 days! It’s not perfect but it’s my 2nd go at a garment so I learned a lot & am pretty happy!

Tonight I got to finish the bottom ribbing and pick up stitches on both sleeves of my (cropped) #StepByStepSweater! (Still hoping the kinked yarn in the middle blocks out 😅) I’m using 40cm cords for sleeves but already wishing I had shortie needles!

I finished the body stockinette & started bottom rib on my #StepByStepSweater! It’s looking dodgy in the middle where I used yarn from frogged crochet—hopefully it’ll block out🤞 Invasion Day long weekend is over so progress will be much slower now!

This #StepByStepSweater is starting to look like a real jumper! I’ve finished the raglan increases and split the sleeves. I’m aiming for an oversized cropped fit so I’m thinking I’ll do around 18cm/40rounds-ish for the body before the 7cm ribbing. 🧶

I’m past the German short rows & 1/4 through the other raglan increases on my #StepByStepSweater! My GSRs and increases are messy😥 but it’s my 1st time trying either so I’m mostly just happy it worked & the collar fits over my head!

The Great Pottery Throwdown is wonderful (and the Canadian one too); Slow Horses; The Good Doctor; Shrinking; Law & Order and SVU are nice and reliable and it’s fun to see how the tech and investigation techniques change if you start from the beginning.

Thanks! It’s not perfect but I’m happy it’s an actual real usable sock and that’s definitely down to how clear the instructions were! I used the pattern supplemented by the matching YT video for the hard bits and they really are so helpful! I used 10” (Addi Sockwonder) and even so 9” seems crazy 😂
