Douglas came to my event at Kenilworth Books last night, asked about my novel & said he’d buy it if he won the lottery with the ticket in his wallet.
As he left, I smiled thinking what an amusing way to say he didn’t want to buy my book.
10 mins later he came back & bought it. He’d just won £160!
