Decided to get my steps in despite the rain. Took a walk in a the forest. In the rain, the forest breathes. Each drop awakens a secret pulse in the soil, and I, wandering alone beneath the dripping canopy, am a silent visitor.

I'm going to keep saying this: Black people are not a monolith, we have never been one. Just because we are the same race doesn't mean we should have the same interests, hobbies, style, etc.

And the people who think this way are the same people who get mad whenever non-black people stereotype us.

Being in nature is returning to our native roots also. 🍄 🌱

People- even my dad- have said Archie could run like Michael Vick. They were shocked to see his sons couldn’t run. Maybe Archie trained them not to though since he got hurt that way.
