If a program can do everything the "industry standard" like illustrator can do, especially export and read PSD files and layers properly, it should be normalized to use it and have it apply to whatever the project is unless your job offers in house programs for the work idk

I'm so pissed off how phased out 2d and hand drawn animation is in the industry not only due to unfair pay but companies cutting pride instead of valuing artistry. There are some good 3d shows and movies yes but sometimes a girl nrrfr don't Legion of Super Heroes style animation

i have no issue with subscriptions so long as theirs a base one time payment version of said service. I think subscriptions in general are scams by default but oh well

programs that are pay a subscription to access will never be anything. Ibispaint will always in this category, be the supperior app because you can one time buy it for full access and have the option to pay for extra features
