Look...my family was "poor"...I grew up broke and on STAMPS, went to food banks with my family, went without electricity sometimes but...I did draw. I am still broke.

Yes, art has it's inequalities surrounding accessibility, etc like most things unfortunately but that's a different conversation.
“Poor people have a right to art!”

They sure do. So get to it.

Reminder:

You are amazing.

You are inspiring.

You are worth more than you think.

Don't let anyone deny that.

Especially your inner voice.

You matter.

I'm proud of you

My priorities are weird. I once walked through a storm so I could buy a puppet at the store. To this day I still don't know why the store was open during a storm but it sure is a memory 🫡

I brought this up originally because whenever people see what was white passing years ago they go "oh they're obviously not white" today's standards on race are more strict than the 30s weirdly enough.
This is Elsie Roxborough, a mixed writer, stylist, and socialite that was born to a black family in Detroit. In adulthood, she was considered white and even dyed her hair auburn to look it. This was what white passing looked like years ago

Books work better as serialized 40 minute episode dramas rather than movies. Unless they're short stories, those usually work great as movies.

At the risk of sounding like a dick rider the full one time purchase of ibispaint is so worth it for quick graphic design stuff opposed to pretending adobe is good and ui friendly to a creator
