In facing down fascism, fortune favours the brave. Not the focus group.

Congratulations to our current MP for Ladywood on becoming Home Secretary. Her predecessor was a long-time member of the Cabinet. And joins us on Tuesday to reflect on her career and today's politics.

I mean, I think we all feel like the ground is sinking

You may not feel it, but the ground beneath you may be sinking.

In fact, the surface of California’s Central Valley is nearly 30 vertical feet lower than it was a century ago.

Why is this happening? Because our planet is rapidly drying. THREAD/

I really cannot stress how contemptible this is – or how deeply offensive it is to the families of people who fought and died in conflicts as America’s military allies, when it asked for help. There are hundreds of such families in the UK alone. And thousands more who served and returned.

HEGSETH: We wore a patch on our shoulder that said ISAF -- International Security Assistance Force. And you know what the joke was? That is stood for 'I saw Americans fighting.'

COONS: Let's just make clear for the record that our military partners in Afghanistan included many who served and died

sometimes when I'm sad I go on my photos from seven years ago from a holiday to Portugal when I saw two stuffed lions who look like Neil and Christine Hamilton
Honestly my description won't do it justice, it's two of the most surprised looking lions you'll ever see

Elon threatening to just leave people on the ISS is making a pretty good case for why you nationalize your space program!

Grateful to Dominic Grieve for fun and insightful evening. Short-term pessimism about the Conservative Party. Longer-term optimism about deepening relations between UK and EU.
