Here is the recipe! I used a combo of Gruyère and Emmenthal cheeses as well as both scallions and chives. I also use plant-based bacon strips as I am vegetarian, and they hold up well.

I indeed used a pie pumpkin to do this, and I sliced it in half with a large serrated knife when it came out of the oven 🙂

Baguette chunks, a combo of Gruyère and Emmenthal cheeses, chives, scallions, thyme, plant-based bacon stripe that I crumbled up, salt, pepper, and thrn some cream with nutmeg poured over top as it went in thr oven 😋

I would probably eat a modified version of it now, some sort of pasta bake sans meat, of course, as i am now vegetarian.
I can't recall ever eating the other chop suey, but I swear it's in my memory for some reason.

I know my elementary school served American chop suey, but I never got it (at school, I'm sure I've had it) as we weren't allowed to eat hot lunch besides the pizza and one bonus meal a month, normally pancakes. I know it was always macaroni elbows in red sauce with ground beef, though.

Pardon me, it was a farm and not an orchard. I was unable to bring apples home, but I did bring pumpkins and gourds and my front step looks AMAZING. We had Hella cider and treats, and spent the entire day doing autumnal activities. Why yes, I did go on a hayride.

It's not from my hospital visit, it's from the dr office's lab, which doesn't show up on the portal. It's a lesson I apparently need to learn every fucking time I have labwork done there, but it's also WAY cheaper to get it done there than at the lab attached to the cardiologist's office.

Someone tell me why I got a bill (I haven't brought myself to open) from the hospital system when my portal says I don't owe this one anything? I'm on a payment plan with them for the gazillion I am paying off. I didn't see a hospitalist or any out of network doctors there.
