This is one of my favorite pieces he did, because it implied that there was far more than a monster movie going on. It created a mythological, occult element to the aliens.
They shouldn't just be extraterrestrial beings or the result of experiments, they should've been something far worse.
Mural painting by H.R. Giger depicting the life cycle of the alien.

Huntington’s disease, a devastating degenerative illness that runs in families, has been treated successfully for the first time in a breakthrough gene therapy trial. The disease, caused by a single gene defect, steadily kills brain cells leading to dementia, paralysis and ultimately death.
KEY POINTS
•Researchers have achieved a "groundbreaking" milestone by slowing the progression of Huntington's disease for the first time with a new gene therapy.
•The treatment, named AMT-130, is delivered via brain surgery and is expected to last a patient's lifetime after a single dose.
•Early-stage clinical trials involving 29 patients showed that those receiving a high dose experienced 75 per cent less disease progression after 36 months.
•Experts from University College London (UCL), including Professor Ed Wild and Professor Sarah Tabrizi, hailed the findings as potentially "world-changing" and the most convincing evidence to date for a disease-modifying effect.
•The development offers hope for patients, with the potential to preserve daily function, extend working lives, and significantly slow the disease, which currently has no cure.
•For people living with Huntington's, an effective, onetime therapy that significantly slows the loss of muscle control and cognition around mid-life could preserve years of quality relationships and gainful employment that would normally be lost to the disease.
•The drug will not be available for everyone due to the highly complex surgery and the anticipated cost. There isn't an official price for the drug yet. Gene therapies are often pricey, but their long-term impact means that can still be affordable. In the UK, the NHS does pay for a £2.6m-per-patient gene therapy for haemophilia B.

GOOD NEWS! For the first time ever, Huntington's disease has been successfully treated. A groundbreaking new miRNA treatment, AMT-130, slowed the progression of the disease by 75%. These results are likely to support the first approval of a genetic treatment for the rare neurodegenerative condition.
