WITCHRIV is finally out, and it was a good start. There was some major changes from the one shot, such as Merrily now being called Nona (and another change that I’m sure will be explored more as the series goes on). The art is really good, I’m excited for what’s next!

UXM does a great job at exploring the lineup’s overall themes of taking back the future that was stolen, the new generation of mutants rising up against oppression, along with showing someone who rejected the call (Hisako), showing how it affects her.
