The Tories say that all parties want to tackle child poverty.

Sadly, it's not true. Only Labour have taken action.

We'll drive the largest reduction of child poverty within a single Parliament.

Deeds, not words.

Given a) Farage's past; b) the expanding story about Russia and former MEPs; and c) media enthusiasm for "what influence is being bought?" questions, if anyone to left of Mussolini is gifted so much as a cup of sugar, why is Reform facing no such questions about Friday's £9m crypto-bro donation?~AA

17yo Farage bullying a 9yo. With this and the yelling in assembly about pupils called Patel thing, I see why he minds the coverage. It’s not the racism, which he can bluster. It’s the cringe. He was cringe and weird at school. His “friends” probably shrank away from him when he did this stuff.
"'Where are you from?’ he asked. Within seconds of offering my rather confused and sputtering answers, he had a clear response: ‘That’s the way back to Africa,’ with an accompanying hand gesture pointing towards a place far away."

Most listened to UK podcasts of 2025?

1. The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett
2. The Joe Rogan Experience

Hey ho... guess it mirrors the Sun & the Mail being the biggest selling papers.
No accounting for bad taste - esp that smug blert Bartlett - spinning his vacuous "wisdom"

I’m worried about Richard, the supposed Reform candidate in some council by election or other in Lincolnshire.
Look at the faraway look in his eyes.
The sadness.
The furrowed brow.
The dull listlessness…😔

Is he being held hostage against his will by Andrea Jenkyns?

Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances. A new decade-long Brexit study explains it: a 6–8% hit to GDP – that's £180bn-£240bn a year – means less tax, less investment and less money for everything else.

Brexit made Britain poorer. Much poorer.

Nigel Farage's spokesman denies he made racist comments, saying it was "a long time ago" and "you can’t always recollect what happened".

Asked why lots of people remember the same thing, he asks why they didn't come forward before

When I point out some of them did, he replies "not in the same way"
