I was confused about the physics of the shot, but this makes sense. It was to the side of the shot clock

Ha. I’ve been to a No Kings protest and I haven’t got paid for it yet. No one else got paid for it either, and won’t. Republicans just say George Soros has unlimited money to hand to protesters.

It’s possible this was real. She was also fine with the drone strikes against Venezuelan fishermen.

Between seasonality and possible job losses, this might actually happen. That said, people very don’t like “line go down” and that will happen too.

He really wants another day like today.

S&P, NASDAQ CLOSE OUT WORST DAY SINCE APRIL
prezmullet.bsky.social
At this point doing nothing, saying nothing, and letting everyone get Soros checks for protesting is the best move.

Seriously they shouldn’t come to the table unless over half the Rs in the exec branch resign.
DJIA down 868 points, a top 10 bad day, thanks to Trump posting about adding more tariffs to China. This means 401k’s get slashed and jobs are lost and could lead to more protestors.

This could be fun. Skipped paydays are always a sign of a healthy organization that people have never walked out on.

ok, here's DJT on the rare earth export controls that China has proposed. sorry for sharing tr*th s*cial posts, but apparently that's how us policy gets done this administration.
Some very strange things are happening in China! They are becoming very hostile, and sending letters to Countries throughout the World, that they want to impose Export Controls on each and every element of production having to do with Rare Earths, and virtually anything else they can think of, even if it’s not manufactured in China. Nobody has ever seen anything like this but, essentially, it would “clog” the Markets, and make life difficult for virtually every Country in the World, especially for China. We have been contacted by other Countries who are extremely angry at this great Trade hostility, which came out of nowhere. Our relationship with China over the past six months has been a very good one, thereby making this move on Trade an even more surprising one. I have always felt that they’ve been lying in wait, and now, as usual, I have been proven right! There is no way that China should be allowed to hold the World “captive,” but that seems to have been their plan for quite some time, starting with the “Magnets” and, other Elements that they have quietly amassed into somewhat of a Monopoly position, a rather sinister and hostile move, to say the least. But the U.S. has Monopoly positions also, much stronger and more far reaching than China’s. I have just not chosen to use them, there was never a reason for me to do so — UNTIL NOW! The letter they sent is many pages long, and details, with great specificity, each and every Element that they want to withhold from other Nations. Things that were routine are no longer routine at all. I have not spoken to President Xi because there was no reason to do so. This was a real surprise, not only to me, but to all the Leaders of the Free World. I was to meet President Xi in two weeks, at APEC, in South Korea, but now there seems to be no reason to do so. The Chinese letters were especially inappropriate in that this was the Day that, after three thousand years of bedlam and fighting, there is PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST....

Just buy lottery tickets instead of playing parlays. The payouts on lotto tickets are much higher and the odds of winning are about the same.
emilygiam.bsky.social
But parlays *heavily* favor the operators — not because of the low win rate but because of the math going on behind the scenes.

As legs are added to the bet, the chance of winning drops faster than the growth of the potential payout.

Americans can’t stop betting parlays. Sportbooks are cashing in.
As betting booms, parlays are accounting for an increasing share of the money wagered on sports, according to a Washington Post analysis of state data.

My Ctrl+F says neither “compliance” nor “supplement” appear in your newsletter. Accountants who do audits of non-profits and government entities *really* need that. The 2024 Compliance Supplement was released on May 29 2024. Can anyone covering Vought or the OMB get some answers there please?
prezmullet.bsky.social
Did you ever talk about the 2025 Compliance Supplement still not published as of today, Oct 9, why this matters, or what the Compliance Supplement is? It’s a big piece of this story.
