Tuvok/T'Pel moment From 'Fallen Gods' ... I literally love them so much. The fact Tuvok didn't come rushing to her side despite knowing she didn't need his help is a "something MUST be wrong..." moment for T'Pel. Beautiful and Correct.
The sof'el'itju training T'Pel had received during childhood prevented her from falling as the deck shifted beneath her feet. Being a Vulcan - for whom the maintenance of calm and self-possession was a cultural norm - she experienced no panic as her body strove to reorient itself despite the sudden darkness that accompanied the unexpected motion. She was concerned, however, by the failure of Tuvok to come to her aid. The fact that she needed no such assistance was immaterial; it was Tuvok's nature to offer it, required or not.

As abruptly as it had begun, the motion ceased. At about the same moment, the room's illumination returned to its previous intensity.

What she saw taxed her veneer of Vulcan tranquility nearly to its breaking point.

"Tuvok," she cried, hastening to where he lay on the floor, unmoving, his eyes closed. She knelt beside him and took his hand. Grasping his wrist, she noted that his pulse was strong, though irregular. "I will call sickbay, my husband."

I really need to get on Tuvok angel imagery (specifically to Janeway)

Thank you First Virtue for this "I'm not gay but a mission's a mission" conundrum (turns out it's a bathhouse, not a brothel, so all is well. On the not being unfaithful to their wives front at least.)
"Do you have a room reserved or is someone waiting for you?" she asked him and Tuvok.

The commander felt the betraying heat of a blush in his face. He hoped the woman would attribute it to the warmth of her establishment, or perhaps a flush of anticipation at the "comforts" to come.

He didn't speak immediately, wanting to make certain his voice was under control. And when he did speak, he chose his words carefully.

“We’re here to meet someone,” he said. “I was told that a Melacron named Pudris Barrh enjoyed visiting this establishment.”

The alien smiled. “Oh, I see…you’re one of Barrh’s boys,” she remarked with a knowing lilt.

Barrh’s boys? Crusher asked himself. What did she mean by that? He experienced a moment of alarm but kept his composure.

“If you can get past Old Scowly there,” the female continued, “you can join Barrh at his pleasures if you like." She raised a long slender arm and pointed to a gilded door to her right.

Finally, Old Scowly agreed to approach his employer. With some difficulty, he slipped his hulking frame inside the gilded door - whereupon Crusher leaned closer to Tuvok and spoke quickly and quietly, "I don't know for certain what kind of establishment this is," said the commander, "but I can make a pretty good guess."

"Unfortunately," the Vulcan whispered back withs incere and undisguised revulsion, "so can I."

"Still, we may have to go along with it." Crusher regarded Tuvok. "Would that...pose a problem?"

"Naturally," the Vulcan replied.

The commander grunted. "I was afraid you would say that."

"And knowing what I do of human marriage customs," said Tuvok. "I would imagine it would pose a problem for you as well."

Crusher looked lost. "Maybe we could just play along for some of it, for the sake of-"

"My master will see you now," said Old Scowly.

Tuvok kept his disgust to himself. His companion maintained control over his expression as well, though the visible darkening of his cheeks seemed to betray him. Crusher uttered an earthy Human phrase with which Tuvok was not unacquainted. "What the hell do we do now?" he sighed.

The Vulcan didn't answer, of course. The question was clearly a rhetorical one.

Frowning, the commander sat down on one of the benches and began to remove his boots. He didn't look happy.

As it happened, Tuvok wasn't happy either. If he didn't know better, he would have said that the uncomfortable sensation in the pit of his stomach was apprehension. Of course, that was impossible. His control over his emotions was impeccable. And yet the sensation remained.

“There must be another way,” said Crusher.

“There is no other way,” the Vulcan told him. “This is the situation in which your plan has placed us.” He knew his words sounded biting, but he didn’t wish any of them back.

The human ran his hands through his thick, dark hair. “Damn it,” he said, “If Beverely ever…”

“Find out about this?” the ensign suggested.

Frowning, Crusher nodded. “But as you say, there’s no other option open to us. I guess we’ll just deal with whatever comes as best we can.” He grunted. “The things we do for king and country.”

Tuvok looked at him. "We do not pay homage to a king, nor does Starfleet ally itself with any provincial governments," he pointed out.

Crusher darted an amused glance at him. "I'm glad you're along for the ride, Ensign."

[Tuvok] remained silent while he and Crusher disrobed. It was not a particularly pleasant experience for Tuvok. Vulcans, after all, were intensely private people and he was no exception. While it was illogical to be ashamed of the way one's body happened to have formed, neither was Tuvok in the habit of divesting himself of his clothing at a drop of invitation.

He went through a quick mental exercise to quiet his unusually charged thoughts and reestablish calm. It helped, though not as much as the ensign would have liked.

Does everyone know about the Star Trek novel where Tuvok and Dr. Crusher's husband think they may have to have a gay threesome with the villainous alien boss they're investigating? They're straight up like "What're we gonna tell our wives!?" and Crusher goes "The things we do for Starfleet!"

Spock's parents scold him for getting bullied or just silently watch it happen like "he must learn to bear this pain alone v_v" and then get surprised when their son constantly runs off into the mountains...HELP him!!!! Help your little boy!!!

I got an ask on tumblr about whether or not Vulcans have dolls/stuffed animals and the image of a Vulcan child expressing their emotions through dolls was so cute and correct to me that it's been canon in my mind ever since. Too little to be emotion free but it'd be embarrassing to be emotional!

Oh my gosh, thank you~!!! It makes me very happy to hear someone loves my Tuvok lore!!🥳 As for his cuteness? Yeees!! I especially love that little forehead braid...it's just silly looking enough to read as both 'alien' and 'child' to me.

Tuvok seems like he was spoiled (kal-toh lessons from a master at 5 years old) but would insist he wasn't and genuinely believes this. Meanwhile you'd think Spock was spoiled bc he's literally from one of the most important families on Vulcan but imo he was too unloved for this to be true v_v

YES, BETTA!!! I was trying to remember what they were called - I was thinking that one, the one with the long flowing tail!!

I'm ashamed to say it but I don't know enough about fish to answer that v_v He has a lot of pretty ornate trinkets in his room so I think he'd be very pretty and adorned but then he spots you and you're like oooh this guy can FIGHT (you're too close to his nest - he'd leave you be otherwise!!)

Keep wanting to draw mermaid Tuvok with his four perfect mermaid babies.......but idk how to draw mermaids. So please take the time to imagine with me an au where Tuvok keeps sinking fishing boats and it's revealed that it was all to protect his lil fish family v_v

Thank you to the allotted one Tuvok - Dr. Lear conversation per episode for all but confirming my headcanon that Tuvok doesn't jerk it. "The odds that I would do anything inappropriate while on or off duty are vanishingly small." he's so prim and proper I love hiiim~
probabbea.bsky.social
Listening to Tuvok talk about how much he definitely loves and respects Starfleet in the Khan Podcast KNOWING he's like a few months from quitting bc of how much he hates it is so funny. Guy who never lets a high horse pass him by.

i want to stress: i firmly believe that we, just us normal people, can push back against this global wave of censorship.

we CAN do this.

there may be temporary setbacks, lost battles, but i do firmly believe that with sustained action, we can make our futures better for art and human expression.
