Bessent isn't even pretending that this has anything to do with national security.

“Nobody likes foreign election interference,” he said. “Nobody likes foreign governments trying to sway public opinion for their own good.”

The NDP definitely isn't ready to fight another election so soon, and I think the Bloc may not be either, so yes, it should pass.

Trump thinks he's "better looking" than Zohran Mamdani, that he's been "mild-mannered" when it comes to political retribution, and that immigration raids "haven't gone far enough."
Here are some of Trump's wildest takes from his "60 Minutes" interview tonight.
Trump brags he could invade your city whenever he wants
In a wide-ranging "60 Minutes" sit-down, the president also said immigration raids "haven't gone far enough."

Let's see after they release the budget. The talk of austerity makes me think there will be cuts to programs that help people. I hope I'm wrong.

Critical minerals include rare earths, but they're not interchangeable. For example, Cu is included in critical, but not rare.

If you broaden to include critical, we're a major supplier of critical minerals, excluding REs. We have the resources, but not the production capacity for REs.
"He was speaking metaphorically when He said that!" I'm sure some of them will say 🙄
It isn't either/or, but they are currently the 2 largest economies, so hard not to deal with both. However, China has resources hard to find elsewhere, such as rare earth minerals, as China processes the vast majority of them. Also, tungsten, over 80% of that market is controlled by China.

The US is the one not adhering to previous agreements or following the rule of law. While I disagree with closer ties with China, I definitely agree with us shifting away our trade, at least until Trump is out of office.

I read a different article, so didn't check the linked one, and it had no mention of a rented home in North Vancouver. Either way, still not in the city where he is a Councillor.
