Threads is just stan twt but not on twt. I dont get the appeal when we have bsky where you don't risk losing your Instagram if you choose to delete the account. Do the people on threads even know thats what they agreed to?

Since there are some new folks here, hi 🥰👋. I mostly scream in frustration here about my body not working right & ableism is fandom spaces/the kpop industry, with a side of kpop fashion/styling ramblings & being entirely feral about Yunho. My "serious" content is over on TikTok & Instagram, and I +

am more often than not keyboard smashing over Yunho in my stories on the latter. I am very chatty, so feel free to hop into my DMs or replies. I do take video topic requests still, but I can no longer guarantee getting around to them with my health the way it is now 🥲. Welcome 🥰

An additional factor driving this is something that I think is a direct result of how much drama and discourse happens within the writing community: and that's that readers are afraid to quote twt their reactions to ao3 update twts and thread fics because they are worried someone is gonna get +

I've seen two writers announce indefinite breaks or full-on departures from writing in their fandoms today. Its so upsetting to see this happen :( I'm still trying to sort out all of my thoughts on the reasons people are leaving fandoms like this, but I have so many.

My beef with the founders aside, the brand really is a perfect match for San style wise. Like it's rediculous how well it suits him.

I also think a lot of the discourse type posts or PSA posts could actually be handled in DMs amongst friends so as to follow "don't like, keep scrolling/block" etiquette. Not everything needs to happen publicly on the tl in town crier fashion.

or something). Things that could potentially fix this include: 1- going back to "don't like, don't read/keep scrolling/block and move on" and 2- if you must do discourse, having context with every thread about it so people don't need to dedicate 16 hours of sluething to figuring out what happened.

mad at them for either a wildly petty reason, a differing on opinions on something that is very polarizing in the writing space, or that they have missed something serious because they're NOT chronically online and people love to post without context (so a fear of being associated with someone +

and leaving encouraging, positive, appreciative comments and understanding writers have lives. And all of this compounds to fandom writing/art spaces being extremely high stress, low reward and almost impossible to enjoy. It's so frustrating. I can't even blame people for leaving.

comments on fics and in people's inboxes critiquing FREE literature/art. Negative notes and ratings on bookmarks on Ao3 (which YES, the authors can see). The lack of comments and readers who read ongoing fics because instant gratification is what people want now instead of exercising patience +

writing circles. And who could forget the slow break down of fandom culture/customs causing even seasoned fandom folk to disregard things like "don't like, don't read" and "don't like keep scrolling" and "don't like, block and move on." Then we have all of the weird fandom etiquette breaking +

There's so much to unpack here. There's the way so many new fans, young and old, make it their mission to be extremely aggressive towards fanfic writers. Like the hostility levels are frightening. Then there's the readers who are super entitled and beg for updates constantly or get mad a +
