This is very sad news indeed. I had the pleasure of working with Brian for the 1830s book that David Stewart and I brought out a few months ago with cup. Brian wrote a terrific essay on lithography and the comic image. Brilliant work and a joy to work with.

I replaced my teenage Leaves of Grass, which had its pages falling out, last week. This new one, that Peter Riley has with OWC, already looks well used. I can't go anywhere without it. 'WORD over all, beautiful as the sky!'
